Located in Dundonald, this disabled adaptation project involved the extension and alteration of a house to provide a two-storey side extension (comprising an open plan kitchen/ dining/ living space and a new master bedroom complete with en-suite bathroom) and alterations to provide a wheelchair accessible shower room and toilet, a new utility room and a small study/ computer room.
The extension was designed to complement the existing house both in terms of its form and in its use of similar materials such as red concrete roof tiles and white painted rendered walls. The project was also designed to allow for the changing needs of the family and its large and loveable dog.
